I designed the visual direction for Austrialdea’s annual ideas festival website, focusing on a bold landing page that could feel energetic, structured, and event-driven.Because the festival was about creativity, innovation, and new ideas, I wanted the layout to feel more dynamic than a standard corporate event page. I used sharp diagonal shapes, red accent lines, layered imagery, and strong contrast to create movement and guide the viewer through the page sections. The design was built around a long-scroll structure, with each section visually separated so users could quickly understand the event, apply, explore programs, view sponsors, and find contact information.
The page was designed as a single-scroll event experience. I separated the content into clear sections for the event introduction, call-to-action, festival categories, sponsors, FAQ, gallery, testimonials, newsletter, and contact information, so the page could work as both a promotional piece and an information hub.
